Webinar Webinar Elizabeth Soto Associate Legal Counsel Evian White De Leon In addition to serving as in-house counsel for MIAMI, Evian White De Leon oversees professional standards and grievances, human resources and legal education for members. She also supports government affairs and our public policy team. White De Leon graduated from the University of Miami School of Law after studying International Relations, Spanish and Literature of Florida International University, both in Miami and in Spain. White De Leon also served as Deputy Director of Miami Homes for All, Inc., a nonprofit with a vison that everyone in Miami has a safe and stable place to call home through affordable housing and youth homelessness policy advocacy, research and coalition building.After graduating from law school, she worked as a litigator at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. for almost seven years. She subsequently joined Miami Beach Community Health Center, Inc. (MBCHC) as their Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Programs. At MBCHC she represented the interests of the organization to improve operations, quality of patient care, and to mitigate risk. She also developed relationships with government and community partners to expand access to quality, affordable health care.Outside the office, White De Leon just finished her term as the President of the Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and a three-year term as an investigative member of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee 11P. Evian also participated in Class III of The Florida Bar Leadership Academy and Class IX of the Miami Fellows with The Miami Foundation. Elizabeth Pines Elizabeth C. Pines, P.A., has more than 18 years of Immigration Law with concentrations in Citizenship, Expatriation, family and work visas: H,E,L,O, Labor Certification and Immigrant Visas. She is a graduate from St. Thomas University School of Law. Ms. Pines has participated in T.V. and radio talk shows regarding immigration topics as well as written columns for local publications.
