The class will give Realtors an understanding of the investor visas available to foreign investors, as well as investment strategies for foreign nationals. This knowledge will empower Realtors to
better assist their foreign clients to achieve their investment and immigration goals. Topics covered include:
  • The various business immigration visas available to foreign visitors, such as the E-1, E-2, EB-5 and L-1A, and how they influence the foreign investor’s purchase of U.S. property and businesses.
  • How foreign nationals can become permanent US residents.
  • The advantages for foreign nationals to own US real estate and the associated liabilities.
  • Types of business entities that can be created for foreign investors to hold US real estate and the associated advantages and disadvantages with regard to asset protection, immigration, and liability protection.
