There is no final examination. Course includes: 8 hours of Specialty Credits, 3 hours of Core Law (Mandatory), and 3 hours of Ethics and Professional Business Practices (Mandatory) The 14hr. Continuing Education course must be completed every two years. If you already have the 8 Specialty Credits, you need to only take the 3hr. Core Law and 3 hours of the Ethics and Professional Business Practices. License renewal dates are located on the front of the Real Estate Licenses. Richard is a real estate broker and Miami native with over 32 years of experience in the real estate industry. Richard is a past member of the National Association ofRealtors (NAR) board of directors as well as the Florida Realtors board ofdirectors and has been named to the Florida Realtors Honor Society. Richard Burch (Rick) was named Realtor of the Year in 2004 by theMiami Association of Realtors and served as the residential president in 2007and was named Chairman of the Board in 2009. Richard has also servedas the first Broward County President for the association. He hasauthored numerous real estate training courses and seminars for real estateprofessionals including the Foundations for Success series and is acontributing author for a new 14 hour continuing education textbook and a 45Hour Post Licensing textbook.
