Cancellations must be received in writing 72 hours prior to class This course must be taken whether you are an "active" or "inactive" licensees. There is no final examination. Course includes: 8 hours of Specialty Credit, 3 Hour Core Law, (mandatory) and 3 Hours of Ethis and Professional Business Practices (mandatory) The 14hr continuing education course must be completed every two years. If you already have the 8 Hour Specialty Credits you need to only take the 3 Hour Core Law and 3 Hours of Ethis and Professional Business Practices. License renewal dates are located on the front of the Real Estate License. ATTENDANCE POLICY 1. CE credit will not be awarded if arrival and check-in are not complete by 10:40am No exceptions. Please allow adequate commute time. 2. Check in with MIAMI staff and sign morning and afternoon attendance sheets. 3. FREC requires a licensee attend 90% of each of the classroom hours. Richard is a past member of the National Association ofRealtors (NAR) board of directors as well as the Florida Realtors board ofdirectors and has been named to the Florida Realtors Honor Society. Richard Burch (Rick) was named Realtor of the Year in 2004 by theMiami Association of Realtors and served as the residential president in 2007and was named Chairman of the Board in 2009.
