REALTORS are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within a four year cycle. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS

The current four year cycle began Jan. 1, 2013 and will end Dec. 31, 2016.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of how the process works. Everything is covered, from the filing a complaint to how a hearing works, and ultimately why agents may or may not get paid. This is a fast paced learning experience with real case studies and frequently asked questions.

Objectives: Students participating in the course will complete their mandatory ethics requirement, while understanding how to practice real estate in the most ethical way possible, and the actions taken when ethics are in question.

Note: If you have already attended a New Member Orientation session with the MIAMI Association of Realtors after Jan. 1, 2013, you are not required to take this session until after Dec. 2016
