Hal has practiced real estate in Miami for over 30 years and is a prior recipient of the Educator of the Year Award for his many seminars to the real estate brokerage community

Due diligence considerations

Contract negotiation and provisions applicable to different types of real estate (vacant land, industrial property, retail property, multi-family, etc.)

Hal Lewis
Hal Lewis is a partner of the Miami law firm of Pathman Lewis, LLP, and is head of the firm’s real estate and banking departments. He is a Miami native and has been practicing law in Miami for more than 30 years. Hal is an experienced real estate, corporate, and transactional lawyer, whose areas of practice include real estate and asset based lending, loan workouts and debt restructuring, and real estate acquisition and development, including condominiums. Hal’s law firm also handles zoning and land use, commercial litigation (both state and Federal), construction contracts and disputes, commercial evictions, corporate and partnership work, and bankruptcy, including representing secured creditors. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Duke University where he graduated magna cum laude in 1981. He attended the University of Miami School of Law where he received his J. D. degree cum laude in 1984, and was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Lewis was admitted to practice in Florida in 1984.
