Realtors often find themselves assisting clients with the drafting and negotiation of contracts involving considerable funds; important deadline dates and varying expectations on both sides. A successful Realtor is a professional who knows the importance of closing a deal, but also knows how to protect their license from possible customer complaints. Therefore, learning how to manage a transaction from contract to close is an enormous responsibility, which should not be taken lightly - this course will cover how to make your transactions close successfully and how to safeguard yourself and your client in instances when transactions, unfortunately, fall apart before closing.

You will learn many key points that need to be addressed at CONTRACT to make certain THAT YOUR TRANSACTIONS ARE A SUCCESS!!

  • How to assess the expectations of Buyer / Seller in your first meeting; to make certain that your negotiations meet these expectations right up to the closing.
  • What important questions to ask the client to guarantee that the contract is being drafted correctly and that nothing is excluded, which may cause a closing issue later.
  • How to draft Addendums that are not dangerously in conflict with other key terms of the contract.
  • How to manage the contract deadline dates appropriately and meet CFPB guidelines for financing and closing.
  • How to keep control of your transaction and project good communication skills with your clients during each stage of the transaction.
  • How to deal with escrow disputes and issues of contract non-performance by the parties to the transaction if things do not go as planned.
  • When to advise the client and how to give advice that will not be misinterpreted as legal advice or a possible UPL ethics violation.

As A Bonus: **All Realtors will receive a Special Registration Gift from Ontivero Law & Title, P.A. for Attending **
