Omar Capellan

Omar Capellan owns and operates a real estate brokerage firm in Cape Canaveral, FL. He is a certified FEMA inspector, commercial Real Estate investor, Real Estate Broker and holds both GRI and ABR designations. Omar was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1993 to attend college. He began a second career as a real estate investor in the residential market in 2000. In 2005, he obtained his real estate license. In 2008, Omar transitioned to full-time property management, and in 2012 he became a licensed broker.

In 2012, Omar was appointed Chairman of the Business and Economic Development board for the City of Cape Canaveral, which he continues to serve as such. In 2013, he was reappointed to serve for 3-years. In 2017, he was appointed to be part of the Planning & Zoning board for the City of Cape Canaveral.

He engineers creative transactions and financing options for his clients. Due to his dynamism, he keeps students engaged and the student’s remarks and evaluations are very positive.

Omar’s interests include investments, learning, golfing and flying, and he is a triathlete.
